Patrick Cook
Patrick focuses on investment readiness and commercialisation strategy as well as support for investor presentation, discussion and negotiations.
Patrick has over 20 years of venture capital experience combining the making and managing of investments in a range of new technologies - including fibre optics and laboratory testing - and old economy sectors including business outsourcing and infrastructure. He has also worked on capital markets transactions spanning IPOs, bond issues, and the raising of Venture Capital funds.
Patrick was Director of the Investment Business at 3i plc and holds a Natural Sciences degree from Oxford University

Beverley Gower-Jones
Beverley works with clients involved in:
- Setting–up & running business incubators and corporate venture programmes
- Creating and understanding joint venture and licensing models
- General management and experience as MD of start-up
Beverley has over 20 years of experience in the energy industry with particular emphasis on corporate venturing in technology start-ups. Previous roles include:
- Performance Director, New Business Accelerator, QinetiQ
- VP, Shell Technology Ventures
Beverley started her career with Shell Exploration and Production, where she worked internationally for 10 years, and holds a Mining Geology degree from University College Cardiff

Mark has 20 years experience comprising operational management, venture capital investment and management consulting. Previous roles include:
- Investment executive at 3i plc
- COO of two fast growing professional services firms
- Provision of fund raising and business planning advice to small and medium sized businesses
Mark started his career at 3i plc and holds both a Chemistry degree and D. Phil from Oxford University
