CLT works with the public sector to develop and run programmes that support the UK’s economic prosperity and competitiveness whilst achieving low carbon objectives. We carefully measure and monitor our work so that we can evaluate the impact of government spending and demonstrate value-for-money.
CLT works with the Department for Business, Energy and Industrial Strategy (BEIS) and its agencies like Innovate UK and UK Research and Innovation (UKRI), the Foreign and Commonwealth Office (FCO) and the Department for International Trade (DIT). We are a strategic partner for the Prosperity Fund and our team has delivered a dozen Prosperity Fund projects.
Under CLT’s leadership since 2012, BEIS’s £72m Energy Entrepreneurs has achieved impressive results and has become one of BEIS’s flagship innovation support programmes.
Unlike many large consultancies that are removed from the daily realities of small business, we have relationships with hundreds of clean tech SMEs. That grounds our advice in the real experiences of companies that the government wants to support. It also gives us sight of leading-edge innovations, which makes our network highly valuable for targeted trade promotion.
CLT helps clean tech entrepreneurs grow their companies by providing personalised business advice and market insights.
CLT brings together industry and government to define value in new ideas so that they can make the most of low carbon innovations.
