CLT Carbon Limiting Technologies

CLT supports the commercialization of new clean technologies with a focus on low carbon. Our observation is that most innovation fails to reach the market. Most often, not because it is technically flawed but because it cannot access the right customers - that is those for whom the innovation's advantages outweigh the many, often hidden, costs of adoption. Our ability to work on funding, industrial partnering and strategic positioning enables technologies to show their potential in the real market.

We work with a large network of industry experienced advisers and can bring funding support from Carbon Trust - Entrepreneur Fast Track and European Reconstruction and Development Fund, to deliver practical hands on support for the commercialization of new technologies. We don't just work with start-ups, we also support established businesses, university teams and even "intrapreneurship" situations, where a larger company is pursuing an innovative idea or technology, perhaps via a new company.

SEEDA manages the South East ERDF Competitiveness Programme 2007-13 on behalf of the region. The ERDF has allocated £15.2 million (€23.706) to the South East over the period 2007-13. The total value of the programme is €47.412m (£30.4m) running from 2007 to 2013. The aim of programme is to promote competitiveness and sustainability to stimulate innovate and encourage efficient business practice whilst reducing the region's ecological footprint.
